Refund & Buyer Protection Policy
Watchalot uses transaction status, delivery, authentication, inspection, and dispute evidence to determine when a refund may be available.
Buyer inspection
After verified delivery to the buyer, an eligible transaction enters a 48-hour inspection period. A buyer should promptly report a material problem during that period rather than confirming the purchase.
Authentication problems
If an authentication review identifies counterfeit characteristics, a material discrepancy, or an inconclusive result, the transaction may offer actions including continuing the purchase, requesting another eligible review, or requesting a refund, depending on the transaction state.
Refund review
A refund request is not the same as a completed refund. Watchalot may review transaction records, listing information, authentication findings, shipping evidence, communications, photographs, and other relevant evidence before determining the appropriate resolution.
Processing costs
Payment-processing fees and other transaction costs may not be returned to Watchalot when a payment is refunded. To the extent permitted by applicable law and Watchalot's policies, costs attributable to a seller's transaction may be deducted from amounts otherwise payable to that seller. Watchalot may absorb or waive costs when appropriate, including where a loss resulted primarily from Watchalot's own error.
Chargebacks and reversals
A bank, cardholder, payment network, or payment provider dispute may place related seller funds on hold. If a transaction is later reversed after seller funds have been transferred, Watchalot may recover transaction amounts and applicable dispute, processing, or recovery costs from seller proceeds or another authorized recovery method, to the extent permitted by law.
No off-platform refund promises
Do not rely on off-platform refund arrangements that bypass Watchalot's transaction record. Refunds and dispute resolutions should be processed through the approved Watchalot and payment-provider workflows.
